My Catholic Cavebuddies usually have as many good things to say about the USCCB as I do Black Bart and the other pseudodox for the same reasons. Well they're meeting again over the usual things much ado about nothing, and will produce the usual much outcry with no outcome. Well, this time they agree that Christians in the Middle East getting slaughtered by the religion of peace is bad, but no ideas on what to do about it.

I see it's almost nothing but GOA representing "us". Here's an idea: next time replace all these lukewarm OCINOs with Met Hilarion and Bishop Jerome of ROCOR and other ROCOR clergy ESPECIALLY from the Western Rite Vicarite, and insist they discuss why Catholic bishops think nothing of altar girls, lay people distributing communion, applause, a protestant service, hippie music, abstaining for A WHOLE HOUR before communion (the horror!) and facing the people the whole time, and why SPPX is getting the cold shoulder. Have a REAL discussion for once. Maybe then we'll stop pussy-footing around and get some real results.

Dude, we need a trip to the range, a nice set of beers, some chili and smoked pork and a tent--we just might be able to strait=ghten the whole mess out in one week end.
