Of course I'm being facetious. By now you may have heard about what Rush Limbaugh said about Sandra Fluke, a Georgetown Law student who admitted to a gummit committee that she spends $3000 on contraceptives a year, and thinks we should pay for it so she can fornicate without consequences. You've also likely heard the vitriol and wailing and gnashing of teeth from liberals over Rush (of whom I'm not a big fan due to his being a mouthpiece of statism and neo-conservatism...and for being a hypocrite) saying the obvious.
Being it's Great Lent, I don't want to throw accusations. I don't know this woman and presume she's not married. Only the married are allowed to have sex, therefore if a married couple want to use contraception, hey I wont judge. But $3,000!!!!
Subvet has his thoughts here. I echo those sentiments entirely. In my atheist days I used to look for "fun girls" like her, and not because they were chinese (no offense to my Chinese readers). Chicks like her were more of a sure thing than the sun rising in the east. Easier than ABC. Single moms put out the most by far in my shameful experience. They actually thought that by being a whore they'd get a step-daddy. They didn't get it that I wasn't looking for "Miss Right" I was looking for "Miss Right Now" and I even said as much to one. Yes I used them for their bodies but I was honest, and wasn't a christian in any sense at the time. But even then I never expected anyone to pay for my behavior, and I knew that if you didn't want to get pregnant, it's called abstinence or felatio. Andrew Dice Clay did a bit in his act about women like this but I can't find a clip of it on youtube. But the gist was that men in general have no guilt about it and that women don't put on the skin tight dress, the "Do-me" pumps, do up their hair, plaster their faces, push their boobs up to their throat and then look in the mirror and say to themselves, "Tonight, some guy is going to treat me like the pig I am." I'll say it now: EVERY woman I fornicated with was a whore, and I was a whoremonger. I'm not anymore. Sandra Fluke and all the liberals out there think they have a Constitutional right to fornicate like dogs in perpetual heat without consquences.
Of course I've repented of all that and grew out of it. Of course according to liberal logic, if you've ever done something, and it doesn't matter if it was 100 years ago, you can't comment on it. That means if I ever drank a drink that made me so sick I almost died from it, and I see you about to do the same, I can't warn you or I'll be a "hypocrite".
But it speaks to the level of perversion in the left and society in general where an entertainer says the obvious and he's the bad guy. What did Rush say that isn't true? Would YOU be proud of your daughter if she ever publicly admitted that she has so much sex that she spends $3000 a year on contraceptives?! I wouldn't! Rush Limbaugh does not have the power to force me to pay for other people's behaviors, to take away my smokes, my beer, and tell me what to eat, what to drive, what to wear and now what to believe. Statists in the gummmit do that.
And to those world orthodox who like to accuse people like me of being "mean spirited" and "uncharitable": well, what do we call an unmarried woman who fornicates so much that she spends $3,000 on contraceptives? A HOLY VIRGIN?!!! Call a spade a spade.
